Vimutti/विमुत्ति in Pali (cognate with vimukti/विमुक्ति) means Freedom (althought perhaps a different kind of freedom than that which is described in the Pali suttas) while vaṁsa/वंस (cognate with vaṃśa/वंश) refers to a lineage or family.
So the name of this blog is “Lineage of Freedom”.
I’ll mostly be talking about Buddhism, Libertarianism, as well as writing scripts. Because I am a Theravadin, I will mainly err of the side of using the Pali names of concepts and figures in Buddhism over Sanskrit.
I have a tendency to write in a sort of fratire, Maddox inspired style, dripping with irony. So if it comes off that I’m commenting on an opinion or a person whose point is blatantly retarded and poorly researched in a way that isn’t completely complementary, know that I’m doing it partially out of personal annoyance and not a desire to wound.
